all i am was seen through your eyes
but you left
then I found out there was so much more to me
than what you would let me be.
You made me feel like i was normal
that i could aspire
to no more
than that.
But baby you were so wrong,
so wrong
about that.
And now that I've said goodbye
and you've let me spread my wings
I have been inspired by you
and have flown much higher than you could have ever seen.
