Clear skies of heavenly blue
The sun shining through beautiful green
Wind whispering through strands of hair
Complete peace out here
Memories of would be's and can't be's
Tingling warmth spreads
Where are you?
Taking deep breaths, nothing wrong yet
Echoes of gunfire surround you
I know you wish you were here
The dust kicks up and swirls
Gasping as a comrade falls
Looking up at the same heavenly blue
The sun shining just as bright
We are under the same sky
But complete world apart
