Here I sit, all alone, naked by the telephone.
Waiting here to hear your voice, feeling that I have no choice.
Thought's in my head I can not loose, Darkened places I can not choose.
Wondering what I've done wrong? Like a caged bird without a song.
I knew from the start it wouldn't last. My problems came out much to fast.
I really thought that you'd be there, not disappear without a care.
I wish you'd told me how you felt, not leave me here alone to melt.
And all the promises you'd said still echo round inside my head.
For all the hurt that I now feel is not in my head, I know it's real.
