I met it twice,
It broke my dream,
it was surprise
with awful scream.
It didn't speak,
It looked at me.
I wasn't sick -
It couldn't be!
I saw his eyes,
I saw his soul -
Like edgy ice,
Like naughty ghoul.
It was a flash
And darkness fell.
It made a dash -
We were in Hell.
I felt a fire,
I was a sinner,
I was a mire
But mustn't simmer!
And morning came.
I was in bed.
It was the same
But I was dead.
