what deserted diamonds
discovered in dream
await us along the path
today?
Inside searching
attempting to contact the
Christ-divine Divincian-magician of mind
three mourning doves orbit round my head,
lost in dreams of love as I drift away in bed,
these walls further reinforcing our life's
resurfacing leitmotif
escape escape
A pent up plaintive coo
precedes poesy's marathon pistol
suddenly stirring me from sleep
Neruda's green ink continues
to pass lessons along life's pages
The gift of song
bestowed by the birds
beloved through the ages of time,
what charitable hymn derived from within
echoes that of the everlasting?
Secluded within the depths of the earth
the seed sprouts its roots
under the vast open sky
the sapling begins to flourish branches
earth shine
luminous divine
the sun christens
clouds reborn
with the day
resting in the tender self
preserving security
of the almond shell
welcoming each moment
as the apple blossoms
receive summer
