Streaks of light infuse warmth
upon the carpet
across the grand piano her
fingers nimbly run
falling tenderly like
autumn rain
dense bubbles mitigate her agony
shattering invisible boundaries
she hates herself for needing this
stubborn powerless paradox
but at bay she does not panic
full crowd awaiting the moment
in front of her reflect
golden penumbras puddles of light
clean white bright as spring dawn
she takes a low deep breath and a bow
moment of silence the music of death
heart pounding sudden revive
strapped in before the oncoming traffic
she sings smooth jazz
shes sighs treasured memories of time
relaxed breathing easy high rise waves
filled with momentary wonder
steady in her believe in herself
deep contentment she steps so naturally
off in the fading light of dusk
like a candle draped in lace consumed
by the flame her fragrant sex stirs the senses
curtains close appetites unveiled
her laboring hours pass like diamonds through
a jade hour glass
