I'm just a Man
and I keep a stiff upper lip
so when Women cry so freely
I say oh please get a grip.
I'm just a Man
so I don't watch soaps on T.V.
while I'm watching the Football
Women are glued to Holby City.
I'm just a Man
so I don't know how to cook
anyway that's why Microwaves were invented
and Deliah Smith wrote a Cookbook.
I'm just a Man
so I'm clever, big, and strong,
and while Women have their faults
us men are hardly ever wrong.
I'm just a Man
so I don't say does my bum look big in this
and I never greet my mate in the pub
with a hug and a kiss.
I'm just a Man
so I don't go crazy over shoes
but do get a bit emotional
when my Football team lose.
So I'm just a Man
but I do know my place
because when Women read this
they'll all want to slap my face!
