My heart is lonely,  
Lost in my memories empty grasp,  
Holding together my still breathing lungs,  
As if they were locked tight together in a clasp,  
  
My words 
Once written,  
Once spoken,  
Once sung,  
  
Like leafs have fallen away,  
Hitting the earth like a mirror,  
Shattering on hard cracked clay.  
Fade. 
  
As my memory fades. 
And life, lost without my love,  
or the ones who make my existence so,  
Is a life I would rather forgo
