I love reading poetry;
mine and others’ too.
It’s among my favorite
Things to do.
And writing poetry
is the love of my heart.
Sharing lines and verses,
inspiration to impart.
Someday, I’ll be as good
as those who’ve set the bar.
But for now, I’ll keep trying
until I’m up to par.
