Raf Raf is crying.
Every sunrise it rains.
When silence seems to heal
All our eternal pain.
Waking up with a dream to forget
Once you touch the ground again.
But you keep walking,
Walking forward to look back again.
Raf Raf is crying.
And what else a mother would do
When she no longer knows
The path her children chose.
Yesterday was a lie;
Yesterday was painful.
I need to envision the skyline
And make tomorrow more beautiful.
Raf Raf is crying.
I’m trying to wipe the tears away.
So much irony that is -
When I try – my tears also sway.
