I am no longer afraid to dream;
Whereas before, aspiration was made to seem
Too lofty a goal for a man like me-
I now know that one day, I might see
All my dreams marry with a wondrous reality;
This has not always been my mentality:
Before, I stunted my dreams under a cerebral ceiling,
Which only served to leave me with an uneasy feeling;
I am much obliged for the power of this gift,
Responsible for my mind's mediation and my soul's uplift!
Now, I am led by my dreams, and not contrariwise,
Which has served further, so that now I realize
That to truly dream, aspiration must be left unbound:
Yet, in order to fly, your feet need not leave the ground!
