Immersed within a sea of words
A shout aloud to all the world
Nobody hears
I think no one will read this poem
So many voices singing out
Their treasured words cacophony
Nobody cares
I think no one will read this poem
Because it isn't on their phone
A billion birds all twittering
Nobody sees
I think no one will read this poem
And knowingly begin to grin
Then send it to a friend or two
Nobody knows
