She said she didn’t know
If the love was still there
Driving down the road
Falling down with pride
Getting up is what hurts the most
Seeing what little things pass by
Waiting to catch the bigger dream
The man that she loved
Could only wave her goodbye
So her car was in drive
Heading down for stronger love
If it’s the wrong thing to do
The tingle in the feet proved
To guide her down the way
He would have found a way
To give her all the love
To think about the tears
Sitting before the volt
Signing the papers to her heart
As it all burned away
She can’t help but stand
On the only two feet she knows
