The thought of me leaves countless people confused,
As I take their feelings and emotions and leave them fused,
To one another in attempt to make a perfect pair,
So they can care for each other and find things to share,
For the rest of their lives they'll be intertwined,
That's how I work although this all takes time.
Some pairs are filled with pain and despair,
It's not a matter of me not being there,
The only reason you hurt is because I made a mistake,
And although the consequence is pain and heartache,
I know now what you don't need,
So next time I'll do my best to succeed,
In finding you that perfect one,
When I find them for you take the chance and run,
Two lovers hand in hand,
Although one can fall two can stand.
