A Past Life
Is not easily forgotten
Is excess baggage
Comes with scars
Bears deep roots
We all endure a past life
In some form
Reincarnated and reborn
Shapes us as individuals today
A Past Life
The photos are boxed
Memorabilia are discarded
The furniture is gone
The e-mail address is inactive
Name is no longer attached to me
The address changed
Erased as if never existed
A Past Life
Carries a profound impact on one's current life
Prevents closure
Why should photos be display to a new find?
Discouraging for a new love to see
Remnants of negative energy
Shards of being unable to let go
A Past Life
Is left in the old hood
Is regression for moving on
Are memories from a different era
