You in Jersey City
When I was one I stood
Later I’d be witty
You were always good
You turned out so pretty
I met you when I could
Back then I was giddy
Somehow you understood
We danced to a ditty
Me, barefoot in the hood
Stupid, what a pity
Then we met like we should
In another city
Soon, I knew that I would
And I fed that kitty
Looking for my knighthood
Twenty five years of me
And all that you withstood
