My chest feels heavy,
As though being crushed.
My heart beats deadly,
As though being touched.
My body feels numb.
I can't hear my name.
I fight then succumb.
We all do the same.
Shattered heart,
Lose control.
Break apart,
Once whole.
Emotions fill my soul.
Water fills my eyes,
Pain takes its toll.
And I begin to cry.
