A storm had broken over our heads
Rains like giant tears upon our windows
As the grumbling thunder strikes
A monstrous night that smashed our dreams
A lonely journey that compared to eternity.
With sunrise came a heavy heart
An unusual silence possessed our spirits
As the labour of many years
Went beneath the muds....
