This is my last rhythmic ramble
Some of the poems are just mumbles
I have no training; this is what I am capable
Better poems in future, this is only preamble
Some poems are serious, some are funny
Most are reflections of my life journey
Many were written somewhat in a hurry
To capture the essence while still fresh in memory
Writing poetry is a form of therapy
To my aching mind whenever I am murky
It's a good hobby in time aplenty
I use them in lectures to avoid monotony
The urge to pen rhymes comes at odd time
Sometimes in the kitchen while squeezing lime
Or somewhere else while cleaning grease and slime
I wish moment of such would come at better time
