Sleeping Beauty for years struggled with insomnia and couldn't sleep.
She tried every remedy she could and boy those remedies weren't cheap.
Nothing could help until someone mentioned a little hard work just might do the trick,
They suggested several jobs that she could do, but she chose the one that could prick.
One injury with the spindle and she said she was too hurt to do any work,
So they gave her a sick day, left her alone, and waited for her to come back to work.
But every day since her injury when she heard anyone outside her chamber door,
Sleeping Beauty pretended to be fast asleep so they wouldn't ask her to go work anymore.
