Don't make our voice impotent
Lame like madmen
aiming to change a mountain's spot
We are the mouthpieces of inspirations
We got clues on our wealthy tongues
And we define the world
despite our red fate
Each step we take that throb the earth
A crypt of clues that deflate men's woes
Each sentence we speak with stanzas and rhymes
A sword to slay the wind of pains
Each night we spend to pen a poem
Pills to cure the ache of our land
We are the modern poets
please don't see us as academic madmen
Of sleepless nights
Scrabbling into darkness
For mere rhymes
