Four men with wrought-iron frames
Set out to tame the world.
One had an ornamental frame
With calligraphic flourishes and curves.
One had a simple frame
With vertical lines evenly spaced,
Like a cage in a zoo.
One had a tangled frame:
No symmetry nor grace
Invaded its entrails.
The last had an empty frame.
He tamed the world.
