i didn't visit nursing geese in tow
field where orphan balls used to show
i could imagine grass are knee high
where summer eggs, hungry muskrats lie
there was a doe that roam those hills
digging its hooves, grazing; maybe still
i miss words that came, i could tell
my solitary walk; much stories to spill
relaxing for one with fresh morning air
i go there tomorrow if it doesn't rain
look for my friends; get closer again
even sky is empty so as my mind dreams
