I looked into her eyes and they shone
Like rays through windows in the morn
I felt captivated but with a mix of home
Whilst we chewed on a gyro
Whose taste was more of a decoy?
I tasted the waste of Euros
My gaze still beamed into a misty world of lies
Where the beauty just seemed exaggerated
But still too exquisite not to be appreciated
Big brown eyes with a tinge of blue
sparkling like waters in the lagoon
Their shine tell a story so true
So mellow, so soft, like chirps in the morn
I looked into her eyes and they shone
