With a little help from Google Translate and my own high school French, here's a rough translation of the Catacombs plaque:
"The ancient bones of Magdalene [also Madeleine] Cemetery (cemetery's address) were deposited in 1844 in the West Ossuary and transfered to the Catacombs in September 1859."
The plaque actually exists, although it's set in front of the bones in question rather than in front of the entrance to the whole Catacombs. It also has the proper apostrophes for words like "l'ouest" and "l'ancien" so it's not as confusing as Deus Ex's version.
