http://www.hauteroute.org Stage 4 of the Haute Route saw 600 riders take on the iconic Alpe d'Huez Individual Time Trial, following in the footsteps of some of the world's greatest cycling heroes. The diversity of the peloton was clearly apparent as each rider mounted the ramp for the only downhill part of today's stage for a rolling start across the line. Alpe d'Huez from Bourg d'Oisans is arguably the most iconic climb in cycling history, with a 15km course climbing 1100m.
