A new species of venomous jellyfish has been found off the coast of Western Australia.

The Keesingia gigas is one of two recently-discovered types of Irukandj jellyfish.

Irukandji are usually the size of a fingernail, but the Keesingia gigas is the length of an arm and believed to be deadly.
