I don't know about you but one thing I missed when I went gluten free was my dads homemade waffles. Thanks to GF Bisquick I can have tasty homemade waffles once again.
Items Needed:
2 cups GF Bisquick (or regular Bisquick if you aren't gluten free)
1 1/3 cups milk (I use cows milk but use the milk you prefer)
1 egg
2tbs oil (I use coconut oil)
Fruit of choice (I used blueberries) I generally use at least 1 cup
Preheat your waffle maker. Mix ingredients together. Place mixture in a measuring cup (helps with pouring). Follow the directions for your waffle maker (mine takes about 6 minutes) and there you go, you have yummy gluten free homemade blueberry waffles. I like to put my homemade sauce on top (recipe to come)
Just an FYI: These waffles freeze great!
