Through research, reporting, news and interviews, “Imaginary Lines” analyzes the structural origins and human consequences of different approaches to media as they cut across countries and hemispheres. That is, what difference does it make to report the news from a perspective of the Global South, as teleSUR does, versus reports from the perspective of the national interests of the United States, as most major English-language media does?
