Michael Brown remembered with calls for peace, justice

After more than two weeks of often violent protests, the community of Ferguson came together in peace... to remember and celebrate the life of Michael Brown.

Laid on Brown's coffin, a Cardinals cap... worn by the teenager on the day he was shot by a white policeman. Brown was unarmed.

The Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis was packed with family, friends and supporters.

Michael Brown's uncle, the Reverend Charles Ewing told mourners that the tragedy reverberates not just in Ferguson, but throughout the country.

"There is a cry being made from the ground and god is hearing the vision of his slained."

And then the Reverend Al Sharpton spoke, calling for change in a country he says is still racially divided.
