Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan who was sentenced to 5-year jail term by Jodhpur magistrate court under Wildlife Protection Act to hunt black buck species, has filed an affidavit in Supreme Court. For what?
For stay on conviction! What does the affidavit say? It says that Salman is one of the highest tax payers in India and it’s his fundamental right to practice occupation that also involves travelling to shoot films. Does that mean you can go around and kill animals?
Nope! The Kick actor was also denied a visa to United Kingdom when he wanted to shoot for his latest release Kick. And on technical grounds, High Court cannot grant a stay on the case that’s under Wildlife Protection Act. Ouch, now that hurts!
Besides the Dabangg Khan, other actors Neelam, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Saif Ali Khan were also accused of poaching in Jodhpur during Hum Saath Saath Hain shoot.
