The project “Establishment of Two Human Development Resource Centers (HDRC)” was initiated on September 01, 2011 by Hashoo Foundation in collaboration with Reach Out To Asia (ROTA). The project targeted 2000 unskilled and unemployed men & women in Union Council Nar Sher Khan, District Bagh. It aimed to offer life-skills trainings to promote the beneficiaries' personal and economic development.
As the implementing partner, Hashoo Foundation ensured that the trainees would master the necessary skills and obtain maximum benefit from the training. This training targeted unskilled, rural community members to impart employable skills that would lead to sustained livelihoods. The program was delivered through a community training center and the staff were recruited locally to ensure local and cultural sensitivity. Based on an analysis of the labour market needs, the project developed trainings ten different trade areas.
