"I worked with a lot of writers, I worked with a lot of artists but I felt like those records were not quite fit for the album. I know a lot of people are like 'What? Are you trying to say these artists are crap?' And it's like 'No, no'. Some of the records we wrote had a vibe and it didn't quite fit to what I wanted so..."
Labrinth is a self-professed music addict, and even got his stage name Labrinth from the organ in the inner ear which enables sound to be heard.
