Like Sena - BJP alliance, cracks have emerged in the rival camp too with the NCP giving an ultimatum to the Congress to respond to their demands. They've pitched for as many as 144 seats after rejecting the 124 seats offered by the Congress. Top leaders have met over the last few days but Congress hasn't yet reacted to its allies fresh demand. Infact it has once again reiterated that there will be a Congress Chief Minister after polls.
