STORY: Fresh off his nuptials actor George Clooney made a surprise appearance at New York Comic Con on Thursday (October 10).
Clooney surprised fans during a panel discussion about his new Disney film "Tomorrowland."
"It is not lost on me that I am spending my honeymoon at Comic Con," joked Clooney.
The actor recently wed human rights attorney Amal Ramzi Alamuddin in Italy on September 29th.
The newlywed revealed this was his first time attending the so-called 'nerd conference': On top of it being my honeymoon I am a virgin."
He later joked that his panned "Batman" performance was the reason why he had never attended.
"I think since I. . . since my 'Batman' I was disinvited from Comic Con for 20 years. I think that's just the way it works," said Clooney.
