A year has gone by since the Muzzafarnagar riots but the situation in the state of Uttar Pradesh is still volatile. As a group of policemen moved to arrest two men involved in a rape case, an angry mob attacked the policemen and two policemen were injured in the firing. Such incidents call for the state government to act against such lawlessness.
