A Playthrough of the FreeSpace 2 Modification Into the Halls of Valhalla created by the ItHoV Team in 2006 on Insane Difficulty by Novachen.

We rescued the Hostages and were able to capture the Pirates on Board the GTC Haiten. After we fly back to the Station, we are now ordered to relieve Beta wing and to take over their escort duty for the Captives to their last track to the GNG Base.
Hints:
After the start of the mission, go into escorts position to the GTT Alexis.
After a while you will be attacked by some Lokis, you should not have big problems with them, because your wingmates are very helpful in this mission and actually they are able to do this mission alone. But at least you should be able to kill some enemies, because there are always four enemies and you have three wingmates. So best choice is the enemy that is not attacked by your wingmates to kill it yourself.
There will be a second Loki wing after you destroyed the first and return into escort after they are down. After both Loki wings are down, the next wave will consist only of four Myrmidons. They are a stronger opponent, but you should not also be get into big trouble here if you do not try to fly in front of your wing and that you may get attention by all four enemies at the same time.
After the Myrmidons are down, you have actually done this mission already, because all other things are beyond your control. Two Pirate cruisers show up and kill the GTT Alexis without a problem and in the following battle you are ordered to stay away. In this the GTCv Rapier is able to scare off the PRC Privateer and is able to destroy the PRC Scurvy and one of the Freighters is able to pick up the launched escape pod from the Alexis to bring it to safety of the GNG Base without further disturbances. After the GTFr Nova 2 landed on the Base, you are ordered to return to base to complete this mission.
The PRC Galleon class do not have a radar symbol in the tables, because my build sets radar symbols automatically in cases there is no present, it refers to the dimensions of the model to choose the correct one. Because the Galleon have dimensions comparable to corvettes, the corvette symbol was used instead of a cruiser symbol that would be more correct, of course.
