God took her in a twinkle
As kind as He could be
Her passing was so peaceful
I felt her soul in me
I wished at that same moment
That I had passed on too
My heart had stopped a beat
Our life together through
We were a match from heaven
As everyone could see
She should have lived much longer
But that was not to be
The pain that lingers on
Cannot be dismissed
The one You took away
