As far as I could tell
You were perfect
You seemed normal enough to me
I got to know
What I thought was you
Instead it was a wall made solid around you
We got close
A little to close some said
That’s where things started to spiral
A different person to the one I knew
That’s what you turned out to be
My heart darkened
I was all alone
With no one to shield me from you
Staring into your eyes
I saw the person you once where
That person now corrupted
I had to stop it
I did stop it
And know I watch
To the person I once knew
Completely ignore me
To still be friends I would like
But its up to you
To make the stand
Swallow your pride
And admit that what I did…
Was right.
