Are you here with me tonight?
This is my darkest hour
I have lost the will to fight
And I think I have the power
The blade is in my right
Soft flesh it will devour
And if I'm in the light
I'll not care that I'm called coward
Thank you for my soft tears
and this dripping from my nose.
Thank you for the photograph
and the will to let this go.
I am glad to say I love you
and my book will not yet close.
I proclaim I'll live another day
but then again who knows.
