Sometimes I am lost in the horror movie of my life,
Wanting to wake up from the nightmare,
But I find it's impossible....
I have to let the terror play out
For what becomes another frightening flick.
Just like 'Donnie Darko' or maybe 'The Butterfly Effect'
Whatever it is....
Lord, let me out!
This isn't the dream I'd like to remember.
Nightmares like life can sometimes shake us.
Let me wake up from this!
Hold me in a dream that is safe-
No longer to be trapped
In the Hollywood horror which mirrors my life.
