Oh what a beautiful day it was,
The first time that I met you.
I knew that you were special.
I knew that I needed you.
As time passed by,
I asked myself why,
You were so close to me.
You meant the world to me.
I look into your eyes,
And I can see.
The person that I want.
The place where I want to be.
I was trapped inside a cage,
You set me free.
I was like a broken mirror,
You helped me flee.
You gave me a reason to live,
You taught me how to smile.
You are my life’s only goal.
You live in my mind, my heart and my soul.
