Old Mother goose is on the loose
All soaking wet with her apron in a pond
Annie and Andy sing a raggedy little song
I saw a elephant on my lane
As a willow tree branch knocked on my window pane
I saw a spider sit near a spinster with a cane
Ruining her meal as it ran her curds insane
I saw a boy steal a kiss
Then another that day from another little miss
I saw a wolf seeming up to do no good
Sneaking behind a little red riding hood
If your nimble with candles you can really hurdle high
Enough to secure pinwheels or maybe fireflies
But without you where would I be now?
Perhaps outer space in a rocket no where bound
Trying to catch some stellar constellation cow
That leaps over moons without a way of landing back down.
