One day I had a boyfriend
The next I am engaged
One day I’ll finish off a chapter
And find another on a brand new page
One day I’ll be in a gown
Beautiful, white and flowing
One day my daddy will walk me to the alter
With everything inside me glowing
One day I’ll stand before a crowd
And we’ll both exchange our vowels
One day I’ll become a wife
And I’ll know it’s the rite man I’ve found
One day ill open my eyes
And see him there beside me
One day I’ll tell him I love him
