He is a vegetable.
He has been an especially vegetative vegetable these past few years.
But, like a fruit bearing plant, he has been absorbing energy; sometimes converting this energy to food, sometimes storing this energy for later...more purposful uses.
When harvest comes, will the product of these processes be unattractive at the least or inedible at the extreme?
Or, will the fruit of his energy cycle be of the delectable, expiating, incredibly revitalizing variety?
