Everyone likes her, why don't I?
You love that teacher, the one whom I despise.
You think she's pretty, I think the opposite.
You dislike rap, I can't live without it.
You wear brand-name clothing, I wear what suits me.
You look for perfection, I look for imperfection.
You hate being sad; I love to feel depression.
You can't control your emotions, I can't express mine.
You are always busy, I have too much free time.
You have perfect vision, yet you still can't see what I see.
You speak what's on your mind, I keep my thoughts to myself.
You're the life of the party, while I sit on the shelf.
You try to be someone you're not, I'll be damned if I change.
You become what others say you are, I remain the same.
You prefer a cozy chair, I prefer a tree.
You regret all your mistakes, I look forward to the future.
You go out on the weekends, I paint a pretty picture.
You're not afraid to fall, I've broken my ankle on a flight of stairs.
You know the hurt of loved one whose left, I wish those feelings you could share.
You give and expect a thank you, I give and feel obliged to give thanks.
You strive for the best, I do enough to get by.
You cry when you hurt, and I wonder why.
You push yourself to the limit, I don't even try.
You think life is a blessing, I say we're waiting to die.
You dread the day when Death will arrive, I cannot wait 'till I've said my goodbyes.
