From the day that they are born
they bring with them a special light
A beautiful glow that generates a smile...
Love is bestowed with a kiss good night
Each day something new is discovered
Children grow and greet each day
with new eyes… we are very fortunate
to nurture and guide them on their way
It is evident to me that growing children
teach as they learn and become proficient
It is not a secret… parents become aware
of blessings as children become self-sufficient
Years move on and a realization takes place
Toddlers become adults…finding who they are
as we quietly reflect upon our achievements
Beautiful children generate a smile from afar
