Why are we so divided on various bases
Religion, caste, creed, colour and races
Religions classed as Shudra or Brahmin
Upper caste treating the lower as vermin
Across my India, man behaves inhuman
Birth seals thy fate, not talent or acumen
Lower caste you are, you must clean the loos
Hellish life awaits, resigned to the blues
Stupid old crap about evolution of the castes
Will this shit exist, till civilisation lasts?
Confused since I'm born, we all look the same
Breathe the same air, the food we eat is same
Then why differentiate and cause such chaos
At our own hands, we're nailed to the cross
Worse than Holocaust, more cruel than Apartheid
Casteism stinks of man's crimes undefined
Every village or town has a racist attitude
Handful of uppers rule the vast multitude
Denounce this system, disown this blind God
Even theism advocates- a slave and a lord
Fighting with each other over a God unseen
If He did exist, this won't happen in his reign
Theist? Then learn from Krishna or Shiv
With cowherds and ganaas, they're said to die n live
Open your eyes, create heaven while you last
Brothers n sisters- no race, creed or caste
I dream of an India where each kid is born free
Free from the shackles snapped by such decree
The day we get united, The day we stop infighting
That golden day we'll see the dawn of India Shining
