Surprise Me!

Abubakar Abdulkadir - Childhood Days

2014-10-29 51 Dailymotion

My childhood days i romp down the streets
In mere pant and in public i pee
And to merry in rains with friends i plead
I say the sun - an orange big and ripe
And i wonder about the moon at night
Who owns the white banana in the sky?
Will it fall like manner? I am its spy

I looked at my dad and said
I want to ride, in unlike yours, a car
White, shinning with no scar
I want to live in a house sky high
I want to marry, like yours, a pretty wife
With whom i will spend my whole life
Must i leave my childhood days?
Days of romping down the streets

I looked at grandpa and said
I want to be called, like you, a sage
To win accolades with my old age
I want to sit with my grandchildren someday
To tell to them the life's best ways
Must i leave my childhood day?
Days of romping down the streets

After old age it's nothing but death
Oh sad! I wish never to die
I wish time take its last chime
And stay forever calm
That i may enjoy my days
Of romping down the streets
