Ode To Summer
The heat is on
Humidity blankets the Earth
God forsaken thick air
Difficult to breathe
Lying there night after night
Beads of perspiration spew all over
Sticky and uncomfortable
Ode To Summer
Mosquitoes loom and unleash their wrath
Hot air gushes from a fan
Häagen-Dazs breaks the heat
Watermelon is cool down
Skirts and tank tops are my choice of attire
The body becomes sticky and sweaty
Ice is a necessity
Difficult weather as I have no air conditioning
The sweltering heat wave plagued on!
